The Vetevendosje movement has announced that the deputy and member of the leadership of this movement, Sami Kurteshi, has taken the confidence of Gjilan activists to be the candidate for mayor of Gjilan in the October 22nd elections.
Mr. Kurteshi we wish for the outcome in the internal electoral process and wish them success even in the race for mayor”, the VV report said.
Kurteshi was also the ombudsman for a warrant. He will be in the race with incumbent Lutfi Haziri of the LDK, while other parties have not yet made public the candidates' names for mayor of this municipality.
Vetevendosje has been well divided in Gjilan in the general elections held on 11 June, leaving the first party, so it expects it to take the lead in this municipality, which would be the first time it leads. But Lutfi Haziri, on the other hand, had expressed confidence that he would manage to retain his and LDK primat at “Headquarterer of Anamorawa”.
