That morning he was seen drinking coffee with his fellow fighters, whom he had not seen in 13 years.
Lekaj was arrested by Montenegrin authorities to extradite in record time to Serbia. A year after, a District Court in Belgrade sentenced him to 13 years in prison for war crimes committed against the civilian population, shortly after NATO's intervention in Kosovo./Zeri/.
