The workshop “Troana” has begun co-operating with the Center for Arts and Communities, American Art and Theatre from New York City, La Mama.
From August 28th to September 10th, the 2017 artists of the La MaMa Theatre in partnership with the Artpolis Centre, at the Oda Theatre in Pristina and on the artistic page Kukaj will focus on building new capacities of artists and artists in the exploration of voice, music and gestures, and using the text from the famous production of 1974 <x> TRUENET”
Some of the artists and artists who are part of this workshop are mostly known names of the Kosovo and international scene as: Ilire Vinca, Anisa Ismajli, Qemim, Lulzim Bucolli, Flight Mustafa, Cateazi Centre, Edlir Gashi, noble Sykaj, Daniela Markaj and many young artists, such as: Fjolla Hama, Skender Podvorica, Redon Kika, Alban Goranci, Edon Shileku, Margarita Ukaj.
Once involved in this workshop are dozens of professional and professional artists and artists from the Serb community in Kosovo, who all together with the Kosovo community, are virtually able to live the “Tronet” performance.
About La Mama's:
The La Mama experimental theater has dedicated itself to all artists/ves around the world. The theatre was founded in 1961 by Ellen Steinart, while traditionally known as the theater of all world cultures. La Mama has featured more than 150,000 artists from around the world in hundreds of different countries. Each year the La Mama Theatre presents over 80 productions while visiting 34,000 visitors of all ages. This theater supports every individual who creates art, giving you access to promotion and financial support.
About co-operation and the project in Kosovo:
The “Troana” project is a program of information arts that deals with artists/artists and also communities that have been the target of conflicts or continue to be. The “Tronet” project will deal directly with those communities that show interest in addressing contemporary issues using theatre power. The project consists of world-renowned production La MaMa, titled “Tronet”, which was created in 1974. This production will combine invented language and gestures using them as exploration mechanism. This show is based on 2500-year-old drama “Tronet” and its war themes, shift, violence against women, children and genocide.
The theatre's function for centuries has been to find a common reason and feeling for mankind to create a better world. Its infection is unique in the way actors and the public interact. The power of this special display has been confirmed in presentations over the past 40 years and in over 30 nations.
Project “Tronet” is unique because it uses a combination of workers, evidence, presentations, dialogue and community awareness.
The first phase: 2-3-week meetings with the project team to share a specific, non-traditional approach to musical, movement and Trojan history. This will be possible with the help of a group of participants reflecting the culture and social diversity of the area.
The second phase from a period of 5 weeks of evidence and exploration will lead to the presentation. The group's personal and cultural ties elements with the material will be included in production.
The third phase after the departure of the La Mama team at the end of the second phase, participants will be encouraged to use preliminary lessons in creating shows to increase and develop their work.
The fourth phase: the ongoing development of inter-cultural networks, on a personal level, local, national and international level, with artists and communities participating in the Trojans.
During this workshop, participants will experiment with methods of strengthening voice and using clean sound. They'll explore body language and gestures. Artists will learn music and some of the production initiatives of the La Mamaé. Artists/theists will be required to expand the material by bringing songs, stories and motions from their personal experiences. Co-operation will be in foster. There will be room for discussion on the work process, show themes, and connections to our personal lives. At the end of the workshop, there will be a public presentation of the work achieved before an invited audience. / KultPlus. com
