In the 17th edition of the International Theatre Festival “The Theatre Without Borders”, in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, held from 29 September to 2 October, Kosovo will be presented on two shows. “Actor in Box” and “AMOK”, which had long life at international festivals this time, will be featured at the Tuzla National Theatre stage. Shows from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia and other countries are also participating in this edition of the festival, besides Kosovo.

The motto of the Bosnia Festival, which is Theatre Without Borders to me, makes a lot of sense. Art is the easiest way to overcome the barrier that has been created for us as a people, and once is the best way to present our artistic and cultural values”, Mentor Zymberaj, actor and director of the ACT Film Theatre, whose production is both performances.

He added that this year there is an additional motivation for such presentation, as the “actor show in Box” has the 10th anniversary of the installation. “There are many good shows that come true, but unfortunately they have short stage life. While you see your product resisting the scene for ten years and still sound artistically, there is no greater satisphation for an artist”, Zymberaj said.

On the other hand, show director “AMOK”, Elmaze Nura, who has participated in many international presentations, says Tuzla International Festival is only one of the festivals at which their artistic work will be presented this year. “AMOK” has been presented on many international scenes and, like “Actor in Box” has been rewarded in all the International Competition Festivals. That's exactly what regenerates my artistic motive”, Nura said.

The ACT Film Theatre House is awarded twice by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Culture for Best International Presentation. The appearances of this production have violated many countries, which have not yet recognised Kosovo as a state.
