During this year the National Library participated in one of Europeana's most interesting projects (European digital portal of national libraries, museums etc), through the exhibition of cards and rare photographs from Albania. This exhibition was intended to highlight landscapes, towns and provinces across Southeast Europe, since the beginning of photography art. Already, this project aims to develop a new search, the reality of today's events of these once photographed countries.
In the case of competitors from Albania, current photos of early images should be sent, selected earlier by the BKSH: Images by: The Middle Bridge, Shkodra, the public garden, Shkodra and Gjirokastra. Photos from Albania should be posted only on 24-31 August 2017.
We want you to send us your best photos with focus landscapes or reference points. This time people's images are not accepted. The winners will receive a package of accessors for smartphone cameras as well as the publication of their photos at Picture This. The candidates will receive simple bags from Europeana”, the National Library on its page writes.
The competition is organised by the European Foundation, the registration office located at the Prince Willem-Alexanderof 5, 2595 EU Den Haag, Holland. We welcome the releases from all those who are 16 years old and older, except for European Foundation employees, participating partner organisations and their close relatives, or anyone else related to the organisation, or is on the competition decision commission. The competition is free and free.
Entering this competition, participants give the go-ahead for their creations to be used by the European Foundation, about the European Collections Web site, the Web site connected to it, including here but not limited to its public publication, involvement in promotional activities, social media and other works.
