After the late dedications made by Skenderaj seem to have come to her husband's turn, writer Qerim Skenderaj dedicated some very sensitive words in the form of poetry. Skenderaj's mother lost her life as a result of a serious illness.
HOW HAVE YOU been invited?... My tooth, good morning.
How did you sleep down there without me?
I came back today, I said hi,
And I still tell you how much I love you.
I, up here, I love you, Preka, with you, every memory.
My soul is afflicted with great sorrow.
Your thirst...
Now rest, my dear.
From here, you're done.
Your children, the most subtle work,
I'm sorry.
Little while they are surrounded!
Hands full of shiny flowers.
Your soul has richly blessed them.
So with tears they express their love.
If you sleep, rest safely,
The flowers we'll share one day.
Now I just added a lily,
Like a flower...
When you wake up, watch us from above
We are as united as ever.
So protect them with the golden arms.
The evil eye, not tears shed but bitterness.
