An investigation conducted by the United Nations has been found that deadly nervous gas has been used in Syria during the April 4th chemical attacks on Syria.
More than 90 people died from this attack.
US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley has said that the report “confirms what we already know: chemical weapons have been used against the Syrian people”.
Now that we know the undeniable truth, we will launch independent investigations to confirm exactly who was responsible for these brutal attacks in order to seek justice for victims”, Haley added.
The Organisation for the Prevention of Chemical Weapons report will be used by a group of UN researchers to identify the successful.
The incident in the town of Khan Sheikh had caused international concern, following images of children dying in front of cameras.
US President Donald Trump launched an air strike in Syria a few days later at the location where he is believed to have launched a chemical gun attack in response to the deadly attack on Syrian civilians.
During this week, the Pentagon has announced that there are indications that Syria may be in preparation for another chemical attack, warning Damascus that it will pay “heavy price” if that happens.
