VVV seeks parliamentary debate on sentences of activists, Astrit Dehar's death

Reflecting that the sentence against them is unfair and without proof, the deputy and member of the Headship, Sami Kurteshi, warned that parliamentary debate will be sought on the matter and on the case of Astrit Dehar's death.

Kurteshi said 20 days are being made by the Constitutional Court's decision, adding that the Action is illegally delayed. And these delays, Kurteshi also called them deliberate procrastinators aiming to draw attention to the groundless condemnation of four activists.

“Dination is completely unfounded, but motivated and simply politically motivated. Neither the prosecutor nor the court have had any evidence of the guilt of activists. The sentence is based solely on assumptions and completely groundless perceptions, which testifies to the political background”, Sami Kurteshi said, among other things.

He also added that the fabricated evidence has been proven both untrue and by the Kosovo Police Forenzice, but also by the FBI, as well as by witnesses in the case. While Kurteshi also pointed out that one of the convicts, Frasher Krasniqi, despite being an MP, has never informed the court of the reason for his sentence.

“Vetevendosje Movement will never cease to seek justice for convicted activists and for the murder of Astrit Dehar in prison. The Vetevendosje movement today submits the request for parliamentary debate in the case of the activists' sentence, Kurteshi said further.

In the end, he said it is the last moment for finding the perpetrators to shoot the Parliament, saying that “Vetevendosje movement does not fear or stop to put legal justice in the country, saying it is moral, legal and political devotion of our”.
