Tens of families in Kosovo have been evacuated from their homes Friday evening because of floods caused by recent rainfall.
Mair Hasani, co-ordinator at the Agency for Emergency Agency, has said that in Pristina they have left their homes in Emshire 6 families.
So many families have been evacuated in Prizren because of the danger of the Lumbardhi waters.
According to Hasani, in Malisheva the Mirusha River for each year causes problems due to a bridge that has to be regulated, while they have also been in several locals that have been damaged in Prizren and Mitrovica.
Civil registry centre has also flooded into Mitrovica. Until Saturday the situation is calm, teams have taken to the ground to assess the damage.
Meanwhile, five rescue teams have left for Albania in the morning, respectively, to offer their assistance following a request the Republic of Albania has made to Kosovo.
Kosovo's rescue teams, totaling 35 people, have brought boats with them.
