With Nexhat Daci's election at the helm of the Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts (ASHAK), it is becoming a full two-and-a-half decades that this institution is managed only by academics coming from Eastern Kosovo, based on Presevo, Medvedja's Bujanovac.
Taking the Legal provisions of Law No. 05L -038 over the Academy, referring to Article 3 and 4, where the Academy's activity is described as the activity of special public interest, as well as the Academy's special public interest is expressed in the exercise of its activity in science and art, which includes promotion, cultivation, promotion and development of scientific thought and artistic creativity. The elite, or brilliant mind, of a nation or the nation's brain is dependent on the composition and quality of the Academy.
This scientific institution, although for so many years it was guided by academics coming from Presevo, Medvedja's Bujanovac, we can consider that it was so wealthy in relation to the sensualisation and contribution to the spread of scientific thought and creativity abroad, in this case in Presevo, Bujanoc and Medvedja, and in opposition to the Law of this Academy and its statute.
This academy with Kosovo academics Linor so far never took any initiative with the aim of spreading scientific thought to those people, or to the political classes in Presevo, Bujanoc and Medvedja. Given the historical flows this region is undergoing need more than ever for thought, consultation, and statements to benefit the Albanian issue.
A SHAK this passive, and not interested in that part, will continue even during Nexhat Daci's mandate. Daci has exercised this position before, during 1999-2002, when the war was held at the PBM, and the Academy was silent.
He has lost credibility both in politics and in science: initially in a judicial affirmation that had declared him guilty of personal gain with state budget money, then slipping away from the post of Kosovo Assembly Speaker, and above all political failures with the founding of the Democratic League of Dardania (LDD). But it should also be noted that the academic Daci recently liked the promotional and divisive speeches and the anti-national content of Shefqet Krasniqi, who, during the inauguration of Krasniqi's book, had extolled verses of praise by praising “the achievement of”, which faces charges of also inciting terrorism.
The penetration of the serefism worm even in this institution of vital importance for the future of the Albanian nation has a serious risk. And at least he needs this non-professional, non-professional mentality further and above all, in opposition to civilistic values.
In this respect, Daci's return to the helm of the Academy implies further declines of its own importance and value. And furthermore, it creates room for the affirmation of people, nonprofessionist and non-realist frameworks, but also those with tribal and political interests. This choice in the lead with Dacin will be nothing but the continuation of the old mentality of silence and making ésehir under its shadow by exploiting those benefits and large salaries from the Kosovo people's taxes.
