Minister Tahiri: Will promote human rights in providing justice services

Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri has congratulated on International Human Rights Day.

Tahiri through a Facebook post, has said that as a minister, it will promote human rights in providing justice services.

“Today, International Human Rights Day reflects the idea that every day is needed to work for equality, justice and dignity among people. This day marks the signing of the Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations, the basic document for setting standards in this field. Human rights philosophy is omnipresent and must govern rule of law and justice management at all levels”, the justice minister has said.

A key aspect of my role as justice minister is promoting human rights protection in providing justice services. As we reflect on Human Rights Day, let's adopt the message of this day by playing our part in respecting and protecting each other's rights. Our country is based on the values of human freedom and rights, and we have to do as much as we can to protect these values in our own judicial system”.
