Lawyer Gashi: Albin Kurti and Donika Caday-Bujupi are released tomorrow

Tomorrow at the Constitutional Court in Pristina, the last session will be held for the accused and deputies of the Republic Assembly, Albin Kurti and Donika Cadaj Buyup, the same are in charge of criminal work “receiving tear gas to parliament”. Currently these are in custody. The judge of this case, Bekir Kaluldra will [...]

The judge in this case, Becir Kaluldra, will have the final word about the final decision for LVV founder Albin Kurtin and deputy Donika Kadaj.

In this regard, lawyer Tome Gashi has shown the legal side of this session to these “Vedition” deputies.

According to him, the release of Kurt and Caday-Buyup will eventually be decided tomorrow. He says this issue has been made entirely for political reasons.

Tomorrow will be the last session in the case of Mr. Albin Kurt and Mrs. Donika Caday-Bujupi, so this completely political case, all opinion is reported that all actions have been political, the firing of tear gas in the Kosovo Assembly has prevented the loss of over 8500 hectares of Kosovo land, and prevented the creation of the so-called “Zajednica” which would be an association with most Serbian municipalities in Kosovo, that this in the form of a spider would prevent the functioning of Kosovo state<3>, Gashi <4> Indexline”

Furthermore, he stressed that tomorrow the judge will have no reason to hold Albin Kurti and Donika Kadai-Bujupi in custody. According to him, the entire court procedure will be carried out tomorrow.

So tomorrow, just after the final word, the judge has no legal reason to hold him in custody. Pre-prisonment has been seen as being for their own security in the unhindered development of their procedure. The court procedure will be completed tomorrow, and we hope that the judge will issue a fair decision and cease the detention, which is completely set for political reasons”, he has further said.

In the end, Gashi shows that these actions are within the constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, not the drop of gas, but the way it is choosing because of a much larger leadership problem.

He says MPs have the only job they have is to listen to the interests of the state of Kosovo. MPs are the people's elected.
