The State Commission for Marking the Border Line with Montenegro today has presented the final report before the country's prime minister, Ramush Haradinaj, writes Indexline.
Based on the findings, Haradinaj has said this report shows that Kosovo loses much territory with previous demarcation.
The State Commission has strongly argued the uteti posidentis jury principle, with evidence that up to Tower and Clear, territory is managed by Kosovo. Only 17% of Montenegro's territory, by 2013, is included in the cadastral records of this republic”, wrote on Facebook Haradinaj.
Although the report was released today, a date has not yet been set when it will go to the Assembly to vote by MPs.
Even Xhavit Haliti, from the Parliament's Headship, said in a proposal for Indexline that they are looking for a hearing in which they can debate and then vote for demarcation.
We have considered and are looking for a hearing to inform the assembly about the demarcation issue and to debate and vote on it. The second possible variable is that the prime minister or government address the assembly, or head of the assembly, at the request for extraordinary hearings on the issue”, Haliti has said.
Although talking about the demarcation vote, Haliti said they have not yet received any formal requests for setting the session date.
So far we have not received any requests so that when the application comes the way it is addressed to the assembly, the leadership makes its decision even examines the first version or the second”, Haliti has indicated.
Political subjects in the country have not yet been declared if they will vote on this version of demarcation. Meanwhile, we remember that demarcation still remains a condition for visa liberalisation.
