Kosovo is seriously endangered by energy collapse.
This is because besides the Kosova B thermal power plant, other thermal power plants are not in place, due to a lack of coal.
For thermal power plants to become operational, then KEK must make coal extracts on the lands of Hades and Shippitule, which are currently inhabited.
However, the expropriation of the two villages is completely blocked.
That is because KEK is not making due assessments of the property of residents of these villages, despite the agreement between residents and the Kosovo government.
Residents of Hade and Shiptille villages, Saim Krasniqi, for Tribuna Channel, is saying that this did not happen because the Canadian company, which is assigned to assess these properties, is not just assessing reasonable price, but that they have not been on the field at all, thus making the assessment from the office.
He added that the moment KEK respects the agreement between Kosovo residents and government, then these first will leave their homes
Rafet Osmani, of the KEK Workers' Union, indicated that the situation in KEK is very serious, adding that out of 18 thousand workers, this corporation has remained with only 4400 Sosh, and that according to him they can lose their jobs.
They asked local institutions to resolve this issue as soon as possible, so as they said Kosovo would escape energy collapse.
