Average salary in Kosovo Telecom 980 euros, in Post 800 and KEK 600

Economic Development Minister Valdrin Luka has shown average salaries in some of Kosovo's main public enterprises.

He, in Puls of KTV, has said that the average salary in the Kosovo Post is 800 euros, in Kosovo Telecom, it totals 980 euros, until the average salary in KEK is around 600 euros.

So salaries are very large and we have Kosovo Telecom, which is working with losses. The first year is 6m euros in losses. As long as I'm on this mandate I'm going to try to make changes to these institutions that work at a loss”, Luka has said.

Luka has said that out of 16 public companies that we monitor 11 work at losses.

He has said reports of public enterprises so far have never gone to parliament.

For the first time I've done such a thing”, Luka said.

Luka has shown one more case, when she said that “there are cases when the company has won 20,000 euros in total, and that money has been allocated to bonuss for the Board and directors”.

So there are these cases when the company is mismanaged”, he said.
