Montenegro's Orthodox Church Mitrovici, Amfilohije Radovic, has presented to his closest associates a document he has called “Apel for the protection of Kosovo and Metohija”.
According to the Serbian newspaper “Blic”, which has even published this document, which says it resembles a political pamphlet, it ignores the internal dialogue which Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has proposed, while Amfilohije believes the frozen conflict is the only reasonable decision, Coha.net broadcasts.
As Blic” learns, Amfilohije presented this document to his closest associates at a gathering held Sunday at St. Nicholas's church in Radovica, Lushtica, and intends to seek the Serbian Orthodox Church's internal support for it.
“With irresponsible politics, accepting it EULEX, moving the dialogue on Kosovo and Metohija under EU auspices, with the launch of technical dialogue, and with the reach of Brussels' unconstitutional agreements, the process of secession of Kosovo and Metohija has reached a disturbing moment. That process could and should be aborted”, written in the document that Amfilohije called “Apel for the protection of Kosovo and Metohija”.
The document emphasises that US and EU powerful states' demands that Serbia and Kosovo “sign a legally binding agreement and that Serbia should agree that Kosovo should be accepted into international organisations, including the UN, as well as any division of Kosovo and Metohija, is unacceptable and should be rejected once and for all”.
The paper adds that much of this text is addressed to Serbian President Vuciq.
