The monetary sum, student credit payments and free land loan are just some of the grants smaller communities are offering a younger generation of Americans seeking to leave the big city, where in some countries individuals can use up to 80,000 dollars in relocation incentives.
By “U n HOW Today”, rural America includes 75 percent of the country, but only 16 percent of the population live in those areas, the lowest in nation history.
Numbers show 54 per cent of the population in 1910 were living in rural communities, but the figure reached only 19 per cent in 2010, according to a report from the real estate website Zillo.
“U n HOW Today” explains that this phenomenon is a complex mix of many factors, but essentially Americans are facing less opportunities after the technological advancement and continued consolidation of the agricultural industry.
