But a survey by Illicit Encounters, a website founded in 2003 that explores romance outside of marriage and relatives, suggests women betray more than you can imagine, broadcast the Express.

And the web site research found that there is a common denominator that drives women to betray: parental influence.

Basically, if the mother of a woman or father has betrayed in adulthood, they are more likely to follow their example.

Illicit Encounters found 71% of unfaithful women had mothers who betrayed their husband. With the men, only 45% of the traitors were fathers' sons who did the same.
