Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, as well as Minister for International Trade of Canada Francois-Philippe Champagne, have vowed today that Kosovo and Canada will soon have the Investment Protection Agreement between our two countries, signing the Good Purpose Letter, which precedes this agreement.
President Thaci has said that bilateral co-operation between Kosovo and Canada is on the rise, especially in the economy, with particular emphasis on the mining field.
While Minister for International Trade of Canada Francois-Philippe Champagne has said the Investment Protection Agreement will be of great importance to any possible investment in Kosovo.
President Thaci and Canadian Minister Francois-Philippe Champne have also talked about reforms made in Kosovo's economy, where confirmation of success in these reforms is also the signing of a Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the European Union, as well as Kosovo's accession to the Corporation for Millennium Challenges of the American Congress.
President Thaci has said Canadian investments are very important for Kosovo's economy.
