The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has called for all borders with Yemen to be kept open so that the country can freely accept food and medical services as the country faces war and cholera epidemic.
The Red Cross said that chlorine tablets to prevent cholera did not provide permission to cross Yemen's northern border and expressed concerns about 50,000 bottles of insulin for diabetes to be sent next week, which require continued cooling.
The Saudi-backed coalition, which is struggling against the Huth movement in Yemen, has said on Monday it will close all borders on land, sea and air with the Arabian peninsula as efforts to stop members of the Huth movement from Iran.
