First US reaction comes after news that Suriname has drawn recognition of Kosovo independence

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Kosovo has not yet received any official documents from the Republic of Suriname, if this country has drawn recognition of the Republic of Kosovo. Such an evental decision has not been confirmed so far by the Suriname Government, since the only one who has declared this “withdrawal [...]
But would the eventual withdrawals of Kosovo's recognition present problems from the countries already recognised? In this question, the Free Europe Radio, the ambassador of the United States of America to Pristina, Greg Delawie, has written.
“The United States' support for Kosovo is steadfast and unchanged. The fact of Kosovo's independence is irreversible”.
“We call on countries, which have not yet formally recognised this fact, to do so, and by doing so, to influence ensuring peace and stability in the Balkans and to help preserve an entire Europe, which will be free and at peace. Both Kosovo and Serbia should focus on the final outcome and reach agreement on what is known as normalising relations. This requires compromise on both sides”, Ambassador Delawi said.
Meanwhile, Jethlir Zyberaj, from the cabinet of Kosovo's deputy prime minister and Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli, has told Radio Free Europe that “the withdrawal of recognition” of the Republic of Kosovo from the Republic of Suriname, which by Belgrade authorities allegedly did not confirm by the authorities of the state of Suriname.
We have no official confirmation from the state of Suriname, nor from the representatives of this state in Washington or New York, for such an act. So, unless there is any official information, we have only one tendency for Serbia to take advantage of their political needs. To be honest, though, we do not treat these efforts very seriously. We look at our work and have our own power-making agenda”, Zyberaj said.
On Tuesday, Serbia's Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic had declared to the media in Belgrade that the Suriname Government had informed Serbia that “has drawn recognition” of Kosovo's independence. He has even presented a document to the media, with which, according to Daciqi, the Republic of Suriname announces Serbia's Foreign Ministry, but also the Kosovo Foreign Ministry, that the “has withdrawn recognition for Kosovo”.
Such an evental document, at the address of Kosovo institutions, has not achieved.
So far, Suriname's Government has not issued any public statements to clarify whether it has withdrawn recognition of Kosovo.
The request for such a clarification has been made by renowned British analyst and publicist Tim Judah.
“Call the Government of Suriname... can you confirm that you have drawn recognition of Kosovo”, Judeh wrote on Tuesday, on the social Twitter network.
