From a warrant issued by the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK) of November 14th, the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) has begun the implementation of several mortore remains in the industrial area near the mill é Metaliku in Gjakova 4 days ago.
Contacted them on the phone, Police Station Commander Christa Gjokaj told Calco. com that the area has been secured and work is expected to continue next week.
The “assessment or implementation began on November 23rd, and during the extradition it is believed to have been found at least two bodies allegedly belonging to the period of the recent war in Kosovo. The implementation has been cut off for technical causes, likely to begin next week, where it should be dug up for other eventual mortore waste”, Gjokaj said.
He added that the site of the event is constantly secured and preserved by Kosovo Police at the request of the Special Prosecutor.
