It is believed that this secret organization was formed 2,000 years ago. The nine unknown men are widely suspected of manipulating political and social tendencies in order to advance the personal goals of these men.
But is such a secret organization a reality, or is it merely a legend?
The company of nine unknown men was formed shortly after 226 BC by Emperor Ashoka, reports “Locking”, Transmission Periscope.
The grandson of the legendary emperor who was unifying the Indian subcontinent, Chandragupta, Ashoka, was anxious to maintain his grandfather's heritage and preserve the empire.
In the region between Calcutta and Madras, Kalingan resisted imperial rule, leading to a widespread war. The extremely superior Ashoka forces reportedly have killed over 100,000 Kalinga fighters and expelled over 150,000 villagers from the region.
Even though he had won the war, Ashoka had won a hatred despite his victory through an awesome massacre.
Emperor Asoka is known for his return to Buddhism and his efforts to spread peaceful religion throughout India, such as Malaya, Ceylon, and Indonesia.
His efforts contributed to the subsequent growth of Buddhism in China, Nepal, Tibet and Mongolia. Asoka was an sworn vegetarian but did not force others to do the same. In fact, he was overly tolerant of other religious sects.
Yet, he forbade alcohol consumption.
“He gave up the idea of trying to integrate the rebel people, declaring that the only real invasion was to win the hearts of people by respecting the laws of duty and devotion, because Holy Grace wanted all living creatures to enjoy security, peace, happiness, and freedom to live the way they are satisfied”, writes Pawels and Bergier.

Asoka called nine of the finest minds in India at the time. For safety purposes, the identity of these men never became public.
Together, these men formed a secret society that became known as the nine unknown men.
The organization created all scientific knowledge, from natural science to psychology to the composition of matter.
To better accomplish this fear - inspiring task, each of the nine men was in charge of a particular book he had to update, review and eventually perfect knowledge on.
When one of the nine cannot complete the task either by wanting to retire or as a lack of health, the obligation was passed on to a chosen offspring.

The number of members in society has always been nine.
So the society of the Unknown Nine Men is likely to live for more than 2,000 years.
Talbot Mundey, an English writer, published a book entitled The Nine Unconnoa Men” in 1923, which contained a list of nine books.
This list has come generally accepted: 1. Propaganda, 2. Physiology, 3. Microbiology, 4. Alchemy, 5. Communication, 6. Force gravity, 7. Cosmogonia, 8. Light, 9. Sociology
Fact or Myth?
Were the Nine True Men Unknown?
Asoka may well have sought nine men with unknown identities to gather scientific knowledge, especially in terms of its application for war. This was a very devastated time, and other emperors have been known to order similar initiatives.
These people may have researched the various tactics and exercises of different empires, weapons production, the treatment of horse/elephant, and perhaps even the use of gunpowder./Periscopi/
