Nearly 10 thousand Swiss francs, $2,600 and $1,860 were found at home in the former construction inspector of the Pristina municipality, Skender Canolli, following the police raid in 2014.

But the former inspector has said he was unaware of the existence of this money at home. However, he, during interrogation Monday, before the Pristina Foundation Court, has confirmed that the money was not his but his father's.

Canolly and the other nine indictees are facing justice for organised crime, Koha Ditore writes today.

Together with former head of the Inspectorate in Pristina, Ismet Haliti, as well as other inspectors: Vehbi Abdullahu, Drjam Rukiqi, Blerina Syla, Blerim Ibishi, Ardian Muhadri, Arbenita Ajeti, Mergim Shala and Granit Cenaj are accused of failing to prevent construction without permission, as well as of failing to discuss the decisions about destroying objects that were illegally built in Pristina's municipality.
