Albania's Reporter, Knut Flickenstein, has voiced revolt against European Commission President Jean-Claudide Juncker, on Serbia's assessment, in relation to Albania.
According to ThemA sources, Flickenstein said:
“I do not share the same opinion with Mr. Juncker, who set a date for Serbia's membership. If we were to compare, Albania has made more visible steps than other Western Balkan countries in the Reform in Justice”.
Albania hopes this year to open negotiations for membership in the European Union, while Serbia and Montenegro can get the date for EU membership.
Prime Minister Edi Rama has also expressed disappointment with the EU in several interviews for key international media, on assessments regarding Serbia-Montenegro, towards Albania.
