Each year, between 15,000 and 18,000 new animal species have been discovered across the globe and classified using the latest DNA tests.
As it happens, extinct creatures or even unknown creatures are still on earth. So, what happens when the legendary becomes ordinary, or it is better to say: What happens when creatures believed to be extinct are documented through several photos?

The indigenous people of North America often sculpted totems, told stories, and also sang about the Turkishs. These legendary creatures were described as large birds, capable of creating storms with the beating of their large wings measuring no less than 20 meters, reports <x0Heidden-truth”, the Periscopi broadcast.
They were believed to dwell on the barren mountain peaks and were servants of “The Great Spirit of the World” As these creatures were usually honored, indigenous people feared them because of their anger, and most of the time they were careful not to cross the path of large birds.

In the modern world, large birds are linked to Pteranodon, a gender of Pytrosaurs that included some of the most popular flying reptiles. Fossil remains were discovered mainly in North America, more precisely in Kansas, Alabama, Nebraska, Wyoming, and South Dakota.
For more than 200 years, residents of the above - mentioned areas have reported several incidents involving large birds with lizard characteristics, like extinct perosaurs.
The strange picture has surfaced in the 1950 ' s, which caused a shock in the United States. It was an unknown event from the American Civil War in 1864 near the city of Vicksburg, a large bird distinguished by any known species at the time, as well as the presence of 10 armed soldiers.

It had a wonderful wing space, along with a protracted beak and an unknown head. Is it really possible that this creature was one of the great birds described by the indigenous American people?

Another report from July 25, 1977, highlighted an incident involving three children from Laandal, Illinois. They showed how two giant birds followed them until one of them seized their ten-year-old friend Marlon Lowe. The bird had long legs with distinct claws, and was able to catch the boy and raise about two feet of land before it was released as a result of the resistance.
Local authorities were informed of the incident, but they paid little attention to it until the tracks were discovered about half a mile from the area where the boys were chased.

Since our planet has many unknown and unattainable places, we see that these creatures still exist.
We might consider the hypothesis of its extinction, but because of its predatory characteristics and size imposings, it is difficult to believe that it failed to survive.
Although there are no recent reports of such birds, the known cases along with an established symbolism in American culture can prove that these legendary birds have exceeded the test of time and have managed to preserve their species for millions of years./Periscopi/
