Zogiane speaks after the result: Nobody said it was easy to fight an organised crime system.

Kosovo Mayor Avni Zogiani, through a status on his Facebook profile, has said that the LDK's Burim Berisha has bought power with municipality money and in violation of all laws and regulations.

This is Zogiane's full status:

My opponent, Burim Berisha, congratulations on the power bought with the community money in violation of all laws and regulations. I'm just hoping that he'll be able to deliver these cases of direct aid he's promised to hundreds of families on the nights of last week's campaign. And the city itself, I tell you, should try hard to stop the further destruction. We continue to condemn a fundamentally criminalised power. One day there's no crying without justice in this place!

We've raised the vote for municipal elections for two and a half times, we have work to do. Nobody said it was easy to fight an organized crime system.
