They say women are from Venera and men from Mars, but a new survey of sex suggests that the desire for sex differs from the genders according to the time zone.
While women want more sex before going to bed, men want more after they wake up in the morning.
The survey, organised by Louisville, found that only 16% of men want to have sex before they sleep, broadcast Express.
Lovehoney also found that 36% of women said their desire to have sex was greatly influenced by their moods.
Lovehaney's co-owner Richard Longhurst said: “This shows that there are big differences at the time when the two genders want to have sex”
