He said that the attack is related to his writings and that he knows who attacked him, but that because of the investigation it is too early to speak.
I know who attacked me, and the case relates to my work, so my writings. I know who attacked me, but because of the investigation, he can't speak. Now I'm looking for the DA and the police to whiteen the case”, Cajazi said.
He was released from KKUK under police escort.

While Kosovo police have provided details about the physical attack on Wehbi Cateazit:
Today around 14:30, police have received information that on the “road, Hoti” in Pristina, a person has been attacked and beaten by suspected persons.
The victim is V. Cateazi, male, citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, who has suffered bodily injuries and the same has been sent to the University Clinical Centre to receive the necessary medical treatment.
In this regard police have accompanied a person to the police station to interview him about the event in question.
Police have come to the scene and taken all necessary investigative actions with the aim of making all the circumstances related to this event, with a particular focus on identifying suspected persons.
Currently in co-ordination with the state prosecutor is conducting actions of the initial investigative phase to proceed further to other phases.
