Penny Jenson had no idea that her niece Jordyn Cleverly had her old dress, no longer planning to wear her most important day of her life.
Cleverly asked photographer Cortney Peterson to seize this moment as she appeared to her grandmother in her dress on the wedding morning.
The photographer herself, speaking of American ABC News, said it was one of the most unique and beautiful moments she had ever captured with her camera.
Her response was the most beautiful I've ever seen. Tears burst out of her eyes right away, as she went on to repeat 1962... your grandfather would have loved this, married my life's love to this... and you'll do the same.
23 - year - old woman, who never knew her grandfather after he passed away before coming to life, decided to wear Grandma's dress two years before the wedding.
The moment she appeared before her grandmother, she described her as the most spiritual and exciting of her life.
