Today, Barcelona's team has announced that it will join the country's nationwide strike called for by the Parliament for Democracy, and that the club during tomorrow's (Saturday) day will not work.

No Barcelona player will be trained Tuesday, while young people are also asked to stay at home.

This strike in Catalonia has been called after the organised referendum for the independence of Catalonia, which ended in chaos and violence on Sunday.

Foreign media have reported that hundreds of people have been injured following clashes between police and people, who tried to vote for the division of this region from Spain, whose government on the other side has declared this referendum illegal.
