Delawie has said that the signing in Washington for the first time was made at the American Congress, and this has a huge significance, since it was supported by all American parties indiscriminately.
With this agreement comes great responsibility for Kosovo's new government, implementing the programme with efficiency, transparency and, of course, with good results”, the ambassador has said, according to a government statement.
Delawie has added that the programme in question will directly affect the quality of life of Kosovo citizens.
He has made these comments under a cocktail held by Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj to celebrate the agreement on the programme from which Kosovo has benefited $49m.
Prime Minister Haradinaj, in gratitude, has donated Ambassador Delawi to the Kosovo map, which worked with the stones from Trepca.
