Wiltshire police said seven historic requests that were issued between 1956 and 1992 would be well enough to justify interviewing the former conservative prime minister.
The 1.5 million-pound operation, codenamed “Conifer”, was meant only to assess whether there was enough evidence to question the late MP named Bexley, who died in 2005.
Police say no suspects have been identified that the former British prime minister has sexually attacked him when he was 10 years old.
Some of the charges against the former British prime minister include when he was in this position for the alleged rape of an 11-year-old boy, an offensive attack on a 10-year-old boy and an offensive attack by a 15-year-old boy during three “paid sexual exercise” between 1961 and 1992 in London, Kent, Sussex, Channel Islands and Wiltshire.
Chief of police Mike Veale said there were “convincing and visible reasons to investigate” the charges.
