This economist's work shows how human traits affect individual decisions and market achievements, the Nobel Committee's reasoning says.
Mr. Thaler, 72 years old, “is a pioneer of economic behavior, a field of research in which knowledge from psychic studies apply to economic location”, says the Swedish Academy of Sciences analysis.
