MP Milaim Zeka's lawyer, Gazmend Halilaj, has said he does not expect his client to remain in custody.
According to him, there are no legal conditions for Zeka to be made his decision.
He told Periscope that the court's decision is expected to be taken at any moment.
Based on the elaboration and facts I've presented, I believe the court will not approve the prosecution's request for custody. I've shown very clearly that there are no legal conditions for my client to be held in custody. We're waiting at any moment for the court to come up with a verdict”, Halilaj told Periscope.
Zeka has been assigned yesterday for 48 hours of maintenance, following the opening of investigations that the MP has been involved in visa fraud, where allegedly more than 900 citizens have fallen victim. /Periscopi/
