Renowned Albanian writer Isalmil Kadare is among the top favourites to win the Nobel Prize for Literature, writes the Washington Post.
Swedish industrialist Alfred Nobel founded the award for literature in his name and had said at the time that he would like the award to recognise “the person who will produce the most outstanding work in an ideal quarter” in the field of literature, the Express broadcasts.

Romancier, dramatist and Kenyan essayist Ngugi wa Thiongão is the main favourite, according to many bassists, while immediately after him is the longtime favourite Haruki Murakai.
