MP Milaim Zeka, who is being held in house arrest for allegations of involvement in a visa employment scandal in Germany, has halted media procurement.

In Tuesday's decision by the Pristina Foundation Court, according to NISMA's MP's wife, Edlira Qefalija-Zeka, Milaim Zeka reportedly has stopped any public procurement.

The defendants are prohibited from any public procurement in the media, whether electronic or written”, quoted Qefalija-Zeka for Gazeta Express, Judge Isuf Makoli's decision to suspect “Max3>, “organised crime” and “taxation”.

In this case, she shows that her husband has the telephone stopped.

Unlike restrictions on media statements during the time when Zeka is in house arrest, the same is the Constitutional Court's decision that he can carry out his commitments as an MP.

NISMA's MP, except at the Kosovo Assembly hearings, is also allowed to participate in parliamentary commissions.

He has confirmed this for Gazeta Express itself, the judge who handed down the verdict on Zeka.

The session is correct to go and go back to my house. Even on commissions”, Judge Isuf Makolli confirmed on Wednesday.

Black has also been confiscated by passports.

MP Milaim Zeka was arrested Monday by Kosovo Police, due to suspicion that he has been involved in a visa fraud scheme in Germany for 920 Kosovars.

Pristina's founding prosecutor immediately demanded that Milaim Zeka's 30-day detention measure be pronounced. But, the court on Tuesday has imposed easier measures on him, that of house arrest.

A few days before these developments, portal “Insander” had published research on this visa scandal, in which Zeka was allegedly involved, creating such a business together with his businessman Ilir Krasniqi.

920 Kosovars have tried to emigrate to Germany with working visas through an employment agency, which was in fact a fraud scheme by MP Milaim Zeka and his partner, Ilir Krasniqi, has reported insander, on October 3rd of this year.

According to the paper's research, applicants have paid between 50 euros and 3,500 euros for a labour visa. But instead of employment, it is suspected that applicants have been found within a fraud scheme, for which the prosecution has launched investigations into organised crime, fraud and tax evasion.

Zeka's partner, Ilir Krasniqi, is currently in custody, as he was arrested for the same work a few weeks ago.
