A Chechen accused of plotting to murder Russian President Vladimir Putin has been wounded, while his wife has been killed in an attack near Kivei in Ukraine.

Osmayev, who was wounded in the attack, accused Russia of orchestrating him.
Osmayev has been detained by Ukraine authorities in the town of Odessa in February 2012, and has been charged with possession of explosives, damage to private property and counterfeiting.
At the request of Russian authorities, he is later charged with plotting to kill Putin.
The European Court of Human Rights has recommended that Ukraine not extradite Osmayevin to Russia, and Kiev has decided to suspend the extradition process.
