Education issue acquaintance Besa Sahini, who for many years has been engaged in this area in Kosovo, as a member of civil society, has been appointed Deputy Minister of Education in the Government of Albania.
The news about this has confirmed Sahin himself, saying she feels honored that her work as an expert in this field will be assessed as asset in the Government of Albania, writes Periscope.
Prime Minister Rama today named me deputy minister of education in the Albanian government. I feel honored that my work so far in the field of education is valued as assets in the government of the Republic of Albania. I hope my contribution leads to further improvement of schools and education in Albania. In view that Albanian education standards are set up in Tirana, achievements there will necessarily affect improving education in Kosovo and other Albanian-speaking countries in the region. I see my work in Albania as deepening co-operation between Kosovo and Albania and overstepping borders in the interest of the Albanians' common benefit”, she wrote on Facebook./Periscopi/
