Turkish authorities have issued detention orders for 100 former police officers and have already detained 63 of them, reports state-run Anadolu tribunal.

The police ban has to do with an investigation about efforts to organise the failed stamp last year in Turkey.

The suspects are believed to have used the ByLock app, which the Turkish government says has been used by US-backed clericate Fetullah Gulen, accused of orchestrating the stamp.

Anadolu has reported that security forces are seeking another 19 suspects across the country. / REL/
